In this project, we present a racial equity park plan evaluation protocol. This protocol serves as a valuable tool to evaluate existing racial equity park plans that have been developed in the United States. The protocol was informed by best practices in plan evaluation research and operationalizes racial equity based off the latest research in planning. The project is currently underway, with the research team evaluating racial equity park plans developed by municipal park and recreation agencies.
